There's so much to see and do in Bucks County this spring and summer. As the seasons change, there are plenty of opportunities to get outdoors and enjoy the beauty of the countryside and support the local hospitality industry. Here is a sampling of some of the exciting festivals and events that will be taking place this
year:
FOOD FESTS
- May 1 - 31 Celebrate Strawberry Month at Peddler’s Village. Every day in May, savor strawberry-themed food and drink specials at restaurants and eateries. Stop by the weekend of May 15 - 16 for extra special festivities including live entertainment and strawberry treats served at outdoor food tents

- June 5 Stop by the Lower Makefield Food Truck Festival for a fun, tasty day outside. Located at beautiful Memorial Park inside the Garden of Reflection in Yardley, the festival will feature delicious food trucks, vendors, children’s activities, a DJ and more!

- June 5, 6, 12, 13 & 19 Spend the day at Shady Brook Farm’s Strawberry Festival enjoying wagon rides to the strawberry patch, pick-your-own berries, live music and more!

- July 1 - 31 Mark the calendar for Blueberry Month at Peddler’s Village. Every day, the Village will offer special blueberry-themed food and drinks at restaurants and eateries, plus live entertainment on weekends. On Saturdays and Sundays, enjoy made-to-order sandwiches and burgers at the Water Wheel food tent.

- August 7 & 8 It is National Peach Month at Peddler’s Village Peach Festival and Sidewalk Sale. Taste the flavors of all things peach, from savory to sweet, at outdoor carts and inside the restaurants and shops at Peddler’s Village. Satisfy your shopping desires as well as your tastebuds by
checking out Sidewalk Sale deals.
BEER & WINE EVENTS
- June 18 - September 10 Crossing Vineyards & Winery will host their 2021 Summer Wine & Music Series select Fridays throughout the summer. Bring a lawn chair, grab a Crossing “Crushie”, light bites and listen to The Beatles, Billy Joel tribute bands and
more!
- August 21 Quakertown Alive! hosts the Upper Bucks Brewfest featuring craft beers, food, craft vendors, live music and more at The Park at 4th (Univest Performance Center).
ART & CULTURE
- May - September Every Wednesday at the Bucks County Administration Building in Doylestown, enjoy Bucks Fever Brown Bag-it with the Arts, a free weekly performing art series on the lawn! Sponsored by BB&T now Truist and Peddler's Village.
- May 1 - 30 Take the 46th Annual Bucks County Designer House & Gardens Tour. Restoration will take place at Mearns Mill Manor, a wonderful
1870s mansion in Doylestown. Individuals, groups, and bus tours may tour the home and gardens to see it transformed to its former grace and splendor.
- May 1 – September The African American Museum of Bucks County (AAMBC) brings its exhibit “Building on the Dream: From Africa to Bucks County” to the Parry Mansion in New Hope. Observe their collection of artifacts, learn about African culture and the contributions African Americans have made in Bucks County
and beyond.
- May 6 - June 6 Patricia Hutton Galleries will celebrate spring with a landscape and still life show entitled New Beginnings, Growth
and Renewal. The exhibition will showcase painting in oil, pastel, and watercolor.
- May 14 - June 13 The first AOY Plein Air event Our Towns Through Artists’ Eyes will be a community-wide event celebrating Yardley and Newtown.
The plein air painting can be observed throughout the county from May 14 - 28 and culminates in a unique exhibition from May 29 - June 13 in AOY Art Center’s Gallery.
- May 22 – Stop by the Bucks Fever Virtual Studio Tour, a virtual tour of artists' studios throughout Bucks County. FREE and open to the publics! Go to the chamber's website to reserve your digital ticket. Major Patron: Academy Wealth Advisers, LLC
- May 23 - September 6 View the Measurement Rules exhibit at the Mercer Museum. Measurement Rules explores the meaning of size,
height, length, weight, and volume through a variety of hands-on activities including giant tape measures, treadmill odometers, balance scales and more!
- June 11 - August 28 Celebrate the season at Bristol Township’s William Penn Bank Summer Music Fest. Hosted at their brand-new outdoor amphitheater, see acts including Broadway Memories, Totally Awesome 80s,
70’s Flashback and more on select weekends.
- June 17 - 20 - Doylestown
welcomes the return of Doylestown Pride Festival. The multi-day event will feature a series of films at the County Theater, panel discussions, a block party on State Street, and various pop-up events and celebrations throughout the community.
- July 15 – From 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the New Hope Winery, discover Bucks County's answer to "America's Got Talent" at the Bucks Fever Talent Show. Sponsored by Fred Astaire Dance Studio and C&N.
