A Message from the Bucks County Commissioners

The Commissioners are asking for your help at this time on an urgent matter. We are all aware of the need for N95 masks, face shields, gloves and gowns for medical personnel at our hospitals. Supplies of these materials are in short supply nation-wide. This shortage poses a serious danger because every medical professional who is not adequately protected runs an increased risk of infection, which will leave hospitals short of staff at a time when all hands are needed on deck.  As one professional just said to us on a conference call – we can make more masks, we can’t make more nurses.

 

We know there are companies already pitching in to help, and the public donations have been outstanding, but more is needed.

 

The Commissioners are asking you to reach out to all of your contacts to implore them to use what resources they have to make some of these badly needed supplies.  We are sure you already know of companies who could shift their production to these items but we would ask you to reach out to everyone in your contact list because its possible someone on your list might know of some business you aren’t connected with which might be able to help.
