The luncheon features Rochelle (“Chellie”) L. Cameron, the Chief Executive Officer of the Philadelphia International Airport and the Northeast Philadelphia Airport,
Chellie Cameron oversees oversees the planning, development and administration of all activities for the City’s Division of Aviation, which has a $498 million operating budget and $505 million capital budget. The airport system generates more than $15.4 billion in annual spending to the regional economy and accounts for more than 96,300 full-time jobs within the 11-county region. Cameron’s
top priorities as CEO include enhancing customer service, improving current airport facilities and developing future terminal facilities.
Chellie came to
Philadelphia in 2011 as Deputy Director of Aviation, Finance and Administration; in 2014, she was named Chief Operating Officer, responsible for overseeing all day-to-day airport operations.
Previously, she spent 13 years with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA), which is responsible for operating and maintaining Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Washington Dulles International Airport, the Dulles Toll Road and the Washington, D.C., Metrorail System. She also served for seven years as an active duty officer in the United States Air Force and one year as an Air Force civilian employee; she completed her service in 1998 as
an active duty captain.
