Bob Ciaruffoli is the chairman and president of World Meeting of Families 2015 Philadelphia (WMOF), which will take place September 22 – 27, 2015. Pope Francis will be in attendance on Saturday and Sunday, September 26 & 27. In this important role, Bob leads an outstanding team of 30 full-time individuals, plus business leaders and volunteers from all walks of life dedicated to ensuring that this historic occasion will be inspiring to the expected 2 million faithful from around the world that will make the journey for the event. The WMOF team is responsible for: raising $45 million dollars; developing content for the WMOF Congress; producing the Festival of Families and Papal Mass; identifying and securing hotels and housing for pilgrims and visitors; dealing with security and public safety matters related to the WMOF event; recruiting and training 10,000 volunteers; and, arranging transportation needs to and from the various events. Bob and his team strive to ensure that the pilgrims and visitors will have a positive experience while visiting Philadelphia.
